The Palestinian Association for Care and Development implemented an awareness workshop titled “Awareness of Services Provided to Women” in partnership with the Working Women’s Association for Development, as part of the project “Psychological and Legal Support to Strengthen Women’s Resilience.”
The workshop targeted women living in the camp who are facing challenging and emergency circumstances. The session aimed to introduce participants to the available services in the fields of psychological, legal, and social support, while also explaining how women can access and benefit from these services to enhance protection and support.
The workshop was facilitated by the respected social worker Ms. Ilham Hamdan, who provided valuable guidance and information to the participants regarding women’s rights and the services available to them. The session also included an open discussion that allowed participants to ask questions and share their experiences, contributing to raising awareness among the women involved.
This activity comes as part of a series of programs and initiatives implemented by the association in cooperation with community institutions, aiming to empower women, strengthen community awareness, and contribute to improving the quality of life within the camp.
