Palestinian Association for Care and Development Participates in Al-Bireh Municipality Visit to Al-Amari Refugee Camp

The Palestinian Association for Care and Development took part in the field visit conducted by the Al-Bireh Municipal Council to Al-Amari Refugee Camp, as part of efforts to strengthen direct communication and gain insight into the camp’s living conditions and ongoing community initiatives.

During the visit, the Municipal Council met with several community institutions and representatives, where it was briefed on the programs and services provided by the Palestinian Association for Care and Development, particularly those targeting children, persons with disabilities, and their families. These services include rehabilitation programs, psychosocial support, and community-based activities aimed at improving quality of life and promoting social inclusion.

The association’s staff delivered a comprehensive presentation on its role in serving the most vulnerable groups within the camp, highlighting the challenges faced by community-based organizations and emphasizing the importance of cooperation with local and official institutions to ensure the sustainability of services.

The tour also included visits to various community facilities within the camp and concluded with the Al-Bireh Municipal Council holding its weekly meeting at the Palestinian Child Club, a step that reflects the strong relationship between the municipality and camp institutions and reinforces the importance of partnership and integration in serving the local community.

The Palestinian Association for Care and Development expressed its appreciation for this visit, commending Al-Bireh Municipality’s commitment to supporting the camp and strengthening joint efforts for the benefit of the community.
