The Palestinian Association for Care and Development, in collaboration with the Palestinian Civil Defense, organized a comprehensive training course on civil defense and first aid, targeting a group of mothers and sisters of persons with disabilities in Al-Amari Camp.

This training comes as part of the association’s ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and equip beneficiaries and their families with the necessary skills to respond quickly and safely in the event of any emergency or hazard, whether at home or in their surroundings.

The course covered both theoretical and practical aspects, including basic first aid, handling injuries and burns, and safety procedures during fires or natural disasters. Participants were trained on how to act confidently and calmly during accidents, enhancing their ability to protect themselves and their family members.

The mothers expressed their appreciation for this initiative, highlighting how it empowers them with the knowledge and confidence needed to handle emergency situations. They emphasized the importance of continuing such programs, which combine awareness, practical training, and family empowerment.
