The Palestinian Association for Care and Development organized a free medical day in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, represented by Mr. Dawoud Hrish, and the Ministry of Health, represented by nutrition specialist Ronaq Khaddour and nurse Najwa Al-Mansi. The event also included the participation of Your Surplus Association, represented by Ms. Manal Al-Faroukh.
This initiative comes as part of the association’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services and ensure that essential medical support reaches the most vulnerable groups in Al-Amari Camp and the surrounding areas.

The medical day featured free blood sugar and blood pressure tests, in addition to an awareness workshop for elderly women focusing on healthy nutrition, proper dietary habits, and ways to prevent chronic diseases through balanced food choices and healthier lifestyle practices.

The event also included direct discussions between citizens and officials, during which several health and social service concerns were raised and addressed transparently, with the aim of strengthening communication and improving the quality of services provided.

The free medical day received strong participation and positive feedback from attendees, who expressed their appreciation for this valuable initiative that enhances health awareness and strengthens community support for vulnerable groups.
