As part of its ongoing efforts to promote legal awareness within the community, the Palestinian Association for Care and Development, in cooperation with the Working Women’s Association, organized an awareness session titled “Personal Status Law and Alimony Issues.”

The session was delivered by Ms. Ghada Wahdan, who presented key aspects of the Personal Status Law, with a focus on alimony-related issues, women’s rights, and the relevant legal procedures. She also highlighted practical guidance to help women better understand their rights and how to claim them through available legal channels.

The session included an interactive discussion, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive direct answers, contributing to strengthening their legal awareness and confidence in addressing such matters.

This activity is part of a series of awareness programs implemented by the association in partnership with community organizations, aiming to empower women legally, enhance community awareness, and support vulnerable groups within society.
