Awareness Workshop for Women on Self-Care and Personal Status Law in Al-Amari Camp

The Palestinian Association for Care and Development in Al-Amari Camp conducted an awareness workshop entitled “Self-Care and Its Importance in Reducing Psychological Stress, and Personal Status Law”, with the participation of a group of women from Al-Amari Camp.

The workshop addressed the concept of self-care, its importance in promoting mental well-being, and ways to better cope with daily stress and challenges. It also introduced participants to key issues and rights related to Personal Status Law, contributing to greater awareness of women’s legal and social rights.

The workshop was facilitated by Social Worker Ilham Hamdan and Lawyer Ghada Wahdan from the Palestinian Working Women Society for Development. The session included active discussions and interaction with participants around women’s needs and challenges, as well as ways to strengthen awareness of their rights and promote their psychological and social well-being.

This workshop is part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to empower women, enhance their awareness, support their mental and social well-being, and increase knowledge of legal rights and issues relevant to their daily lives.
