As part of its ongoing efforts to promote public health awareness and provide essential medical services, the Palestinian Association for Care and Development organized a free medical day in cooperation with Augusta Victoria Hospital – Diabetes Clinic, under the supervision of Dr. Ziad Baradieh and Dr. Baha Tarshan.
The medical day included a range of specialized services such as retinal screening, blood sugar testing, and foot examinations to detect diabetes-related complications, in addition to providing nutritional consultations aimed at educating patients on proper dietary practices.
The event also featured an educational lecture focusing on the importance of early detection, prevention methods, and effective management of diabetes to reduce complications and improve patients’ quality of life.
The initiative witnessed strong community participation, reflecting its importance and impact. The association reaffirmed its commitment to organizing similar activities that aim to enhance health awareness and promote prevention and early diagnosis within the community.
